1. Millionaire Teacher is also available as a Kindle edition, if ordered from U.S., Canadian or European Amazon accounts.
2. Scott Burns, a syndicated personal finance columnist who writes a weekly column that gets published in 83 American newspapers is writing an article about my book. He’s going to help me promote it, with his article’s release in mid November. As one of the five most widely read finance columnists in the U.S., Scott Burns has a keen following. And I’m thrilled that he’s enthusiastically endorsing my book.
3. Assetbuilder, the financial service company in the U.S. that creates indexed accounts for its clients has asked me to write for them…alongside Scott Burns. Could a newly published personal finance writer hope for anything better than this? I want to extend a big thank you to Assetbuilder’s CEO, Kennon Grose.
4. Warren Buffett has announced that Berkshire Hathaway may repurchase its shares on the open market. Since 1965 (when Buffett became chairman) they have never done this before, but Buffett probably views the shares as underpriced as I did, when I wrote this blog entry.
5. On a personal note, nine hours from now I’ll have an appointment with my oncologist who is going to tell me that my latest MRI results came back looking great. I’m a “glass half-full” kind of guy, as you can tell.
6. Hug someone you love today, and tell them how you feel about them. Even if we live well into our 80s or 90s, not all of our loved ones will.
Life is a bloody short trip, but it’s one hell of a ride. Enjoy it, my friends!

Just a quick comment to say that the Kindle edition is great news for us living abroad.
And that I just bought it, of course.
Thanks for all your help!

Hey Teach in VN!
That’s great to hear….thanks for letting me know that you were able to buy it from Vietnam. I don’t think it can be ordered from Singapore, via Kindle. I don’t know why, but I’m so glad that readers like you are letting me know who can buy it, and where from. You’re keeping me informed!
Thanks again!
Andrew

Well, my Amazon account is registered in the U.S., so that’s why I could buy it without problem.
I have no idea if people that register in Vietnam will be able to buy it.

Hey Andrew,
Congratulations on the continued success!! I’ve noticed you’ve been getting some articles published in the Globe as well.
Regarding your test: I think a positive outlook is probably one of the better medicines available, so keep at it!

I’m glad you’re getting use out of it.
No problem at all. I always get more than are necessary. I’ll see what comes my way for 2012, and mail one to you if there is one with plenty of lesson planning space.

Hey Andrew,
Congrats on your clean MRI report….that is awesome. And of course your book success as well…it seems to be sweeping the world….which is a good thing.
Since I am in the USA, and already active in a Vanguard portfolio, I am going to check into Assetbuilder. It sounds like a great company.

Congrats on the great news Andrew!
The investing success is nice, sure, but if you don’t have your health you don’t have much.
Only continued health and success for you.
Stay in touch often!

Andrew,
That IS million dollar news.
As Mark put it, if you don’t have health you don’t have much at all.
Glad to hear about everything going well, and congrats on the runaway success of your book.
