I just finished reading your book, it was great. My question is as follows: if you invest in a taxable account, how do you track your purchases and sales for tax purposes? I would think it would get confusing?

    • Hi Jesse,

It's easy. The institution you deal with will send you an "end of year" statement of gains and losses. You'll be surprised how much easier this kind of investing actually is, compared to what you might be used to. And if you're an American, who's able to use Vanguard….wow, you'll be in for a treat. Their statements are so amazingly clear. You'll wonder why you didn't do it years ago.
