Vincent was different.

By profession, he was a barber. But the guy was always scheming.

One day, he was snipping away at my bangs (back when I had hair). That’s when he offered me a “business proposal.”

I was 20 years old, and he asked me if I would be interested in running a brothel for him. He said I’d be perfect for the job.

I remembered that clearly when I wrote this story .
