For 12 years, I beat the stock market. I wrote about those strategies for MoneySense magazine, starting in 2002.
 A couple of smart stock pickers interviewed me recently for The Canadian Investor podcast.
 Among other things, I talked about why I don’t own individual stocks anymore.  And no, I didn’t end up losing to the market.
 That’s not why I made the switch.
