If they “lose” money it makes them nervous. If that’s you, consider a portfolio that, over the past 47 years, has never fallen more than 5.5%.
It fell less than 2% in 2008, when global stocks fell more than 40%. When the markets dropped almost 40% from 2000-2002, it actually made money.
