Jacques Anquetil, five time Tour de France winner

Although this is a financial blog, I’ve been tempted to give my views on Lance Armstrong’s recent plight against the allegations that he used performance enhancing drugs.

But then I read Eugene Robinson’s article in the Washington Post.

He says exactly what I wanted to say…but he does a better job than I could.

The part that might resonate with you, my financial friends, is where Robinson suggested that U.S. tax payers are wasting their money, going after Armstrong.

What about hunting down some of those responsible for the financial crisis instead? That might set a much better precedent.
