After more than 40 years as a U.S. syndicated personal finance columnist, Scott Burns (at age 76) is going to retire next week.

He’s the man who created the original Couch Potato portfolio.

He has one more column to write.

But the one that he published this week (his second-to-last) isn’t about dollars and cents.

It’s a powerful message to the people of the United States… to the government of the United States.

It’s about the greatest assets we have: our health and our humanity.

Scott is one of the most widely read columnists in the United States.

I’ll miss his wisdom.
